There are different ways of making money online, we are going to discuss some of them here. I will be talking about the ways that can really generate some income for you and not the ones that promise you millions but with no results, the ways that I will discuss here won't generate you millions but if you implement it correctly you will be able to pay your hosting fees, at least. First of all I will assume that you have a website with a good traffic. If your website does not receive enough traffic, then you might want to get a steady flow of traffic to your website first. First choice for generating money with your website would be Pay-Per-Click Programs such as Google AdSense, Chitika, Adhearus, TribalFusion, Clicksor, RevenuePilot, FastClick, bClick... etc There are many more programs similar to them, however these are one of the best and most popular programs out there. So try them out first, some of them are fairly easy to be accepted to the program and some quite difficult. If your website is rejected, don't give up improve your website and re-apply again until your website is accepted.
How these programs work? Basically you show their banners and ads on your pages and whenever somebody clicks on these banners or ads you will get paid. Every click might earn you from 0.05 cents up to few dollars depending on the keyword importance.

In affiliate programs there are two ways of making money. First, you sell someone's products and get paid for that, most of the time some percentage (from 5% to 50%) of the sales amount. 3. Sell your own Products and Services
And lastly you can sell your own products or services on your website. The reason I have put this last is that not everybody has products to sell online, and not everybody is offering services.
